On September 28, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian spoke about the Karabakh conflict and possible settlement options at a talk at Stanford University’s Institute for International Studies.

Nalbandian stated that Mountainous Karabakh is one of the historical regions of Armenia and that Armenians there want the same thing as the founding fathers of America proclaimed 240 years ago – namely the freedom to control their life via the democratic path based on the principle of self-determination.
