Armenia’s Special Investigative Service has slapped a freeze on the bank account of Alek Yenikomshian, a member of the Founding Parliament awaiting trial on the charge of fomenting public disorder in July following the seizure of a Yerevan police compound by the armed Sasna Dzrer group.

In a statement, the Founding Parliament accuses the government of persecuting members of the Sasna Dzrer movement and its supporters.
