Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, during a meeting today in Yerevan with Konrad Pesendorfer Director General of Austria’s Statistics Service, confessed that Armenia’s National Statistical Service (NSS) needed to improve its work in terms of publishing the as accurate data possible.

Karapetyan thanked Pesendorfer for Austria’s cooperation in this regard and noted the positive support provided by the European Union in raising NSS standards to EU levels.

Karapetyan said work was underway to modernize the NSS and make its data more credible in the eyes of the public.
