Armenia’s Ministry of Defense says it will be organizing a series of public debates regarding a government plan to tax people 1,000 AMD per month to supplement state compensation to soldiers killed or paralyzed while on duty in the future.

The ministry says that NGOs and the press will participate in the debates.
