Jehovah's Witness Gets 6 Months for Attacking Priest

A Yerevan court today handed done a six month jail sentence to Andranik Makvetsyan, a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses after being found guilty of injuring and threatening a clergyman.

Father Yesayi Artenyan, an Armenian Apostolic Church priest, had charged Makvetsyan with hitting him when he ordered the man to stop proselytizing this past May in the courtyard of the Holy Trinity Church.

This has to be a good lesson to other Jehovah’s Witnesses who are illegally transpassing the law and order in that country. Perhaps, the teacher of Andranik Makvetsyan has to go to jail, too, for teaching him to break the law; illegally enter the church property and preach.
