5,138 Observers for Yerevan's May 14 Municipal Election

Yerevan residents will go to the polls on May 14 to elect a new municipal council, which in turn, will appoint a new mayor for the Armenian capital.

5,138 election observers from seventeen local NGOs have been registered with the Central Electoral Commission.

In addition, 436 media representatives have been registered to cover the balloting.
