Mark Grigoryan Appointed Executive Director of Armenian Public Radio

Armenia’s Public Radio and TV Council today appointed Mark Grigoryan as the new executive director of Public Radio of Armenia.

A PhD candidate in linguistics, Grigoryan moved to London after a 2002 assassination attempt on his life.

While in London, Grigoryan worked for the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) and the BBC.

He returned to Armenia in 2014, working for the PanArmenian Media Group.

Grigoryan had been serving as an advisor to the director of Public Radio of Armenia.

This is a wonderful appointment. Public Radio of Armenia should be the place to go to find out what is really happening in Armenia, Caucasia, and much of the world. Ron Suny
