Twelve Armenian soldiers were rushed to hospital when the army transport truck they were riding in lost control earlier today and fell into a gorge on the M-14 stretch of highway between Vardenis and Shorzha.

Defense Ministry spokesman Artzroun Hovhannisyan, in a Facebook post, writes that eight of the twelve had been transferred to a Yerevan hospital in serious but stable condition.

None of the soldier’s injuries are life threatening, says Hovhannisyan.
