Damascus-Yerevan-Damascus flights were officially launched at Zvartnots international airport on June 28.

Armenia's Ambassador to Syria H.E. Arshak Poladyan, Charge d 'Affaires of the Syrian Arab to Armenia Mr. Essam Nayal, and a number of other invited guests attended the event.

The General Department of Civil Aviation granted permission to the Cham Wings airlines for operating flights between Yerevan and Damascus. The flights will take place once a week, on Wednesday.
