During a visit to Lori Province to review the pace and effectiveness of various economic development projects, Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan called on local leaders to pay more attention to pinpointing specific sectors in the province that hold the greatest potential and to then tailor new projects taking such forecasts in minds.

Lori Provincial Governor Artour Nalbandyan reported on the development projects currently underway, explaining that his administration is strategically targeting exports, tourism, agriculture, IT and creation of small and mid-sized business.

Nalbandyan noted that growth in the construction sector has been registered.
