Considering there has been a significant drop in trade in the last two years, and that the shadow economy has been squeezed, would it not be more accurate to show figures for the last 4 or 5 years? we had real term drops of 20% in 2016, showibg an increase now from a lower base rate gives the wrong impression. secondly, companies which have had stable turnover have showed increased turnover by the books, as the tax office over the last two years has come down hard on the shadow economy. these two factors are vital to show real term changes over the last 3 or 4 years.
