Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations says that 13.5 square kilometers of the 16 square kilometers of the territory burning in the Khosrov Forest State Reserve have been brought under control and that only 2.5 square kilometers are still burning.

The ministry says that a Russian water tanker plane continues to make flights over the affected area.

The fire has been buring for four days.
