Using a defense ministry helicopter, Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted an aerial investigation of the Khosrov Forest State Reserve earlier today.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations says there are 42 firefighters and two citizens involved in mopping-up operations to extinguish the remaining fires still burning in the reserve.

Based on the results of the investigation, a decision will be made as to whether additional flights of the Russian water tanker plane are needed.
