Mopping-up operations are continuing to extinguish the last of the smoldering sites in Armenia’s Khosrov Forest State Reserve, where wildfires ignited on August 12.

An Armenian government statement says that 58 firefighters are on the ground extinguishing the last of the fires.

There has been no official count about the number of hectares destroyed by the fires.
