The foreign ministers of Artsakh and Abkhazia met today in Stepanakert.

Karen Mirzoyan and Daur Kove discussed approaches designed to strengthen friendly relations between their two governments.

The two ministers also signed of a Memo of Understanding tasked with facilitating information and communication between the two ministries.

(Abkhazia, which claims independence from Georgia, has been recognized by Russia and a handful of UN member states. The Republic of Artsakh is not recognized by any UN member state.)
