Some twenty hectares of brushland and forest have burnt near the village of Byurakan in Armenia’s Aragatzotn Province.

The fire was reported yesterday, and around seventy firefighters, thirty forest rangers and some 120 residents from Byurakan and Orgov villages are battling the blaze.
