Sargsyan, according to his press division, said that, “Humanitarian cooperation, including in education and the sciences, are an important part of the strategic Armenian-Russian partnership.”
The Armenian president said that developing the education system was very important and that Armenia would look to its friends and partners for help to overcome challenges in this regard.
Sargsyan pointed to a lack of qualified education specialists.
Minister Vasilyeva noted that given the long history of Armenian-Russia cooperation in the cultural, science, and education sectors, expanding such collaboration would be all the more easier.
