Local elections are being held in 69 communities across Armenia today.

34 elections are taking place newly-formed enlarged communities, and three are special elections for community mayor.

Polls opened this morning at eight.

Update: The CEC reports that according to preliminary data  50.06% of the eligible electorate (243, 335) voted in the above elections.
