
Italian Helicopter Company Wants to Operate in Armenia
Elitaliana, Italy’s oldest helicopter company, says it wants to broker a deal whereby its aircraft would be used to ferry cargo from Yerevan throughout the provinces.
An Elitaliana company delegation, led by CEO Alessandro Giulivi, showed Armenian Minister of Transport, Communications and IT Vahan Martirosyan models of some of their helicopters, explaining their advantages flying in mountainous terrain.
The two sides agreed to continue discussions with other interested government departments,
The company specializes in cargo transport, civil aviation operations, environmental monitoring and forest fire fighting, and air medical emergency services, among others.
