The Women's Support Center in Yerevan runs two shelters to support women and children from all across Armenia who are fleeing violence. In the absence of state support, this is a service that is desperately needed in the country.

Your support today will go toward rent, utilities, food, hygienic products, and medical care for 50 women and children to help them regain their dignity and rebuild their lives in a healthy, supportive, and safe environment free of abuse.

Securing funding for a shelter is an exceptional challenge for us, and we rely mostly on individual donations to cover the burdensome costs of rent, utilities, food, hygienic products, and medical care for the women and children who come to us for assistance from all over the country. Because they are fleeing extremely dangerous situations and often bring nothing with them, providing them with the basic necessities they need truly helps them get back on their feet.
