Armenian Minister of Defense Vigen Sargsyan and Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan today inspected work at the Heratsi No. 1 Hospital to build a rehabilitation unit for military personnel who have suffered spinal and cranial injuries.

Work on the unit was launched at the initiative of a group called Support for Injured Soldiers and the Military Disabled, and is being financed by the government and individual benefactors.

The officials say that the unit will feature the latest medical equipment and will be unique in the region in terms of the services provided.
