
JICA to Continue Working with Armenia, Says Kitakoa
Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan met with Shinichi Kitaoka, President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Davos today on the sidelines of the World Economic Summit.
Karapetyan said that Armenia wished to expand its cooperation with the JICA and was ready to take steps to implement mutually beneficial programs.
Kitaoka said that all ongoing programs would be continued.
The two agreed to conduct a feasibility study in Armenia regarding modernizing the agricultural sector, thus allowing it to link up to the world market more effectively.
