A visiting parliamentary delegation from Armenia today handed a AMD 10 million (US$20,700) check to Artsakh Minister of Defense Levon Mnatsakanyan.

MP Vahram Baghdasaryan, who heads the Republican Party of Armenia parliamentary faction, told Mnatsakanyan that the staff of Armenia’s parliament, from the speaker on down to the cleaning crew, had donated the money.

Minister Mnatsakanyan said the money would be used to solve some of the problems faced by the Artsakh military. He did not specify what problems.
