Does Armen Sarkissian Qualify as Armenia's Next President? British Documents Raise Armenian Citizenship Doubt

The question as to whether Armen Sarkissian, nominated by Armenia’s ruling Republican Party as its candidate to be the next president of Armenia, qualifies for the post continues.

According to Article 124, Part 2 of Armenia’s new constitution (Term of Powers of and Requirements Set Forth for the President of the Republic):

Everyone having attained the age of forty, having held citizenship of only the Republic of Armenia for the preceding six years, having been permanently residing in the Republic of Armenia for the preceding six years, having the right of suffrage and having command of the Armenian language may be elected as President of the Republic.

Does Sarkissian meet these qualifications? His backers say he does. British documents, however, paint a different picture.

In addition to the citizenship qualifier, one must ask if Sarkissian permanently resided in Armenia during the preceding six years.

In fact, according to documents in the British Companies House registry on the Eurasia House International company, of which Sarkissian is listed as a director, his nationality is listed as British, and his Country of Residence, as the United Kingdom.

Hasmik Petrosyan, public relations officer for Sarkissian’s office, told Hetq that Sarkissian was a dual citizen of both countries during 2002-2011, after which, she claims, he renounced his British citizenship.

But the British documents cited above cast doubt on this claim.

Sarkissian was appointed director of Eurasia House International in 2002. He registered as a citizen of Armenia that year.

Since 2005, however, in all the annual reports of Eurasia House International, Sarkissian lists himself as a British citizen.

In the company’s 2014 Annual Return, the last published before the company was dissolved the following year, Sarkissian is listed as a British national and the country of his “usual residency” as the United Kingdom.

Thus, on both counts, just four years ago, Sarkissian, in the company’s reports, is listed solely as a citizen of Great Britain and its resident.

I firmly believe that he is part and parcel of the British Establishment send to that position in order to carry out their globalist plans and one of then is to solve the Artshak issue by handing Artsakh to Azerbaijan with an autonomous statues which he said in one of his meetings in London, and secondly to bring Armenia firmly into the west's orbit thus he cannot be trusted with the affairs of the Armenian state. Any nominee chosen by serjuk's corrupt ruling RPA party automatically becomes tarnished in the eyes of the public at large as he will be dancing to their corrupt tune nor can he become the country's president but only parliaments chosen president as he was not voted in by the public. The Armenian public has a right to know all about this nominee who was absent for 22 years from Armenia and his two sons never served a day in the army, therefore he needs to be thoroughly vetted for his past official work and also all about his business dealings such as "Amuslar" gold mine, "Jermuk International Pepsi Cola Bottler company",“Nestle” company in Armenia,he is the owner of “Yerevan my love” foundation, which received an area of 298 square meters, worth about 380,000 dollars in Kozern district by the government decision in 2013. We need to know all about his shareholdings in these and other companies in order to see if any foreign government or person/s has any leverage over him.He also needs to explain why he suddenly resigned after two months of being PM,what was the disagreement between him and our hero Vasgen,I believe it was all to do with Artsakh? Was he beaten by Vasgen? He also needs to explain his very troubling thinking that Artsakh should be part of Azerbaijan under an autonomous statues, also he needs to explain why he didn't want to leave his position as ambassador to the UK when he was sacked by President R.Kocharian for plotting against the President and also the fact that he wanted to have a monopoly on the ambassadors position in the UK from day one bearing in mind that he also passed the ambassadorship to his wife in that period. He also has a noticeable anti ARF bias from the days of LTP and beyond and has the same thinking on all our national issues which is nothing but a disgrace. His sons feel and are British nationals and resident of the UK and haven't done a day's serving in the army. These are very serious and valid questions that the public needs to hear all the answers rather than being covered up and ignored and spun by the pro regime media with positive articles for this nominee on a daily basis.
