Representatives of the Armenian National Congress (HAK), told Armen Sarkissian, the ruling Republican Party of Armenia’s candidate for the next president of the country, at a meeting today that Armenia faces several important challenges including the unresolved Karabakh conflict, which threatens the security of Armenia and Artsakh, emigration, systematic government corruption, economic monopolies, and the lack of free elections.

In a statement, HAK says that Sarkissian initiated the meeting as part of his outreach to political forces in Armenia.
