A group of foreign journalists and bloggers visited Artsakh on February 10-13, at the invitation of the Artsakhakertum NGO.
The group included representatives from Russia, Latvia, Hungary, France, Algeria and Italy, accompanied by Armenian bloggers.
They participated in festive events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Karabakh Movement, and got acquainted with Artsakh’s history, culture and development potential.
The group had a chance to meet with Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Artsakh’s National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghulyan, Foreign Minister Masis Mayilyan, and Human Rights Defender Ruben Melikyan.
The bloggers and journalists visited some frontline military positions, production facilities, the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies in Stepanakert, and had time left over for some sightseeing.
