
Armenian, Russian Emergency Affairs Ministers Meet in Sochi
Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations Davit Tonoyan met his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Puchkov, in Sochi today on the sidelines of the 17th Russian Investment Forum, and the two are said to have discussed greater cooperation in the sector and the possibility of improving the services provided by the Armenian-Russian Humanitarian Response Center.
In a statement, Minister Tonoyan stressed the importance of the cooperation between the two ministries and invited Minister Puchkov to Armenia in December of this year to attend ceremonies marking the 30th anniversary of the 1988 Spitak Earthquake.
The theme of the ceremonies is “Resistant Armenia”.
