The Armenian government today allocated AMD14 million to the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs to offset the estimated AMD135 million cost of holding the Third Wushu and Kung Fu European Championship in Yerevan this September.

The government believes that holding the competition in Armenia will popularize the martial arts and showcase the country’s capability of holding high quality events.
