On April 6, Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, who arrived in Minsk on a working visit, participated and delivered remarks at the session of the Council of Foreign Minister of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The agenda of the session included more than a dozen draft decisions aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of the organization's activities, developing cooperation among CIS member states in political, security, cultural and educational spheres, which were approved by the ministers.
The foreign ministers approved a draft agreement on cooperation in the fight against crime in the field of information technologies, as well as the 2019-2023 Intergovernmental program for joint action against crime.
The participants of the meeting touched upon the "100 ideas for the CIS" program, aimed at engaging young people in solving the problems faced by the CIS member states.
It was decided to convene the next meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers in September 2018.
