Yerevan: Police Detain 29 So Far

Yerevan police have so far detained 29 civilians today, arguing they were caught violating a variety of administrative codes.

Those detained are being kept at various police stations in Yerevan.

This is the second day that those opposed to the election of Serzh Sargsyan as prime minister have resorted to civil disobedience.

Anti-Serzh Sargsyan movement leader Nikol Pashinyan has called on citizens to encircle the National Assembly, thus preventing deputies from showing up and voting.
