Armenian Ministry of Defense has issued a statement, condemning the unit of Armenian peacekeepers for violating the established procedure and joining the protests in Yerevan earlier today. The Ministry warns that servicemen will be punished according to several articles of Armenian Constitution and corresponding laws.

The ministry adds that these actions also grossly violate the principle of the armed forces need to be out of political process and says that “this should also worry the organizers of the protest”.
