Armenia: ARF Calls for "United Political Agenda"
The ARF in Armenia has called on all parliamentary factions to meet before the National Assembly is set to elect a new prime minister for the country on May 1 and formulate a “united political agenda and agree upon a candidate enjoying the confidence of the people”.
In a statement released today, the ARF says such a candidate must, on a consensual basis, present the new government’s make-up and plan of action.
“To make this initiative a realty, we are willing to start objective discussions with all interested parties,” the statement reads.
