Many businesses in Yerevan’s Nor Nork neighborhood are closed today.

Supporters of Nikol Pashinyan were out early this morning, blocking the main streets to the neighborhood.

The Converse and Acba-Credit Agricole banks on Gai Avenue are closed.

Many shop owners have heeded Pashinyan’s call to not to open their businesses to protest yesterday’s election in which the National Assembly failed to elect him prime minister by a vote of 56 against and 45 in favor.

Most stalls in the Masiv Market are shut.

All the dissenting votes were cast by the Republican Party of Armenia.
