Pashinyan to Meet Putin on May 14 in Sochi

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin are scheduled to meet in Sochi on May 14 on the sidelines on the Eurasian Economic Union summit.

Putin press secretary Dimitry Peskov told TASS that the Russian president would hold face to face talks with a number of summit attendees, including Pashinyan.

At today’s Armenian government cabinet session, a decision was made to make a change to the May 2014 Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) agreement allowing the country to be represented in EEU Supreme Council at the prime ministerial level. Previously, that right was given to the president.

Hopefully the first thing Mr. Pashinyan would do, is ask Mr. Putin for forgiving all the loans we have with Russia. That would be a nice gift for the Armenian people .
