Territorial Governance and Development Minister Suren Papikyan today introduced Garik Sargsyan, newly appointed as the Ararat Provincial Governor, to the provincial government’s staff and local community leaders.

Papikyan said that Sargsyan is tasked with continuing the development trends taking place in the province that were achieved by outgoing Provincial Governor Aramayis Grigoryan.

Papikyan told those attending the meeting that the new government has the political will to overcome the issues facing the province, singling out irrigation issues, the collection of taxes, and raising the effectiveness of subsidy programs.
