Aram Hakobyan, a defendant in the Sasna Dzrer trial in Yerevan, has been released from detention on AMD 500,000 ($1,034) bail.

Hakobyan’s lawyer, Tigran Yegoryan, claimed that his client had serious health issues that didn’t allow him to be jailed while the trial continues.

Yegoryan had petitioned the court to release Hakobyan from detention after signing an affidavit not to flee the country.
