2 months PreTrail detention Means you have been formally charged and will be booked while they investigate your charges. Some charges have bail where you can be released during the investigation and more serious crimes they deny bail and put you in jail holding. During that time the court will decide whether or no to proceed with a trail. also the 2 months can be extended after the 2 months is up to add another 2 months and they can do that up to a year or year and a half.
