The Armenian government will spend an additional AMD 528 million (US$1.1 million) to organize the 17th Summit of the International Organization of La Francophonie to be held in Yerevan on October 7-12.

Earlier this year, the government allocated AMD 1.4 billion to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize the summit.

Delegations from the organization’s 84 member states and governments are scheduled to attend the Yerevan summit.
