Armenian Parliament President Discusses Children's Rights with UNESCO Rep
Armenian National Assembly President Ara Babloyan told UNESCO representative Tanya Radocha during a meeting today in Yerevan that the new government is closely monitoring the defense of children’s rights and that it intends to continue the programs it has launched in cooperation with the U.N.agency.
Babloyan focused on the issue of special needs education in Armenia and that the government must work to see that all developmentally challenged children are provided with the best learning environment and tools available.
The two also discussed the prospects of joint initiatives and events in conjunction with International Children’s Day.
