15:05, January 18, 2012Armenia’s “Association of Young Biologists” is calling on all concerned to team up with them for a series of environmental events planned to take place from March 24 till September 25.
The Association will organize the events in collaboration with the worldwide “Let’s Do It” environmental movement that will coordinate similar events in over 100 countries.
A mass garbage cleanup is planned for Armenia along with raising public environmental awareness.
“Let’s Do It” was behind the 2008 garbage cleanup in Estonia in which 50,000 participants collected and bagged more than 10,000 tons of household trash in just five hours.
