12:58, January 31, 2012The press spokesman for Prosperous Armenia Party President Gagik Tsarukyan has denied reports that the wealthy businessman has purchased the house once owned by Hovhannes Tumanyan in Tbilisi.
Irma Safrazbekyan, grand-daughter of the famous poet, had stated that the house had indeed been purchased by an unknown buyer.
Recent reports in the Armenian press that a part of the Tumanyan house was up for sale and was to be snatched up by a Georgian businessman caused a veritable uproar in many circles.
