15:48, February 1, 2012Karineh Kouyumdjan, head of the Census Unit at Armenia’s National Statistical Service, today told reporters that the nation’s population as of January 1, 2012 stood at 3,274,300, up by 11,700 over the year.
She also said that births dropped by 3.1% during 2011 in comparison with 2010. Registered births last year amounted to 43,447.
