19:20, June 18, 2012Newly re-elected MP Ruben Hayrapetyan is a very close acquaintance of President Serzh Sargsyan.
Hayrapetyan’s bodyguards recently beat-up an Armenian army officer. The man is hospitalized in grave condition.
Here, in the center of Yerevan, the Armenian Army has sacrificed the officer for the sake of Nemets Rubo (Hayrapetyan’s popular nickname).
This is not the first act of “heroism” of the bodyguards. I am sure they have treated numerous others in the same manner. I am also certain that on each occasion they have been encouraged by their boss.
Serzh Sargsyan says – believe in me and we will change things.
What will you change Mr. President if the bodyguards of one of your political party members can crush an officer serving in my army?
What should we believe in if the bodyguards of an oligarch of your political party are so bold as to raise a hand against an officer defending the borders of my country?
