Anti-government protesters in Noyemberyan have blocked their section of the highway leading to the Georgian border.

Noyemberyan is a town of some 4,500 residents in Armenia northeastern Tavoush Province.

Pupils have declared a school strike in Berdavan and Koghb, two villages incorporated in Noyemberyan.

Gohar Aslikyan, one of the protesters, told Hetq that young people from Koghb have joined protesters from Berdavan and Noyemberyan, and that they are all headed to Bagratshen, to surround the customs check point on the Georgian border.
