A delegation headed by Cypriot Minister of Defense Savvas Angelides touched down in Yerevan today for a two-day official visit.

Armenia’s Ministry of Defense reports that after a reception at the ministry, a meeting took place between Minister Angelides and Armenian Minister of Defense Davit Tonoyan, during which the two sides discussed the results of last year’s military and military-technical cooperation and outlined the major avenues of such collaboration this year.

The two ministers signed an 2019 military cooperation agreement.

They also discussed international and regional security issues.
