A delegation led by Artsakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Masis Mayilyan touched down in South Ossetia yesterday at the invitation of Dmitry Medoyev, the South Ossetian Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Today, according to a statement released by the Artsakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers signed a cooperation agreement allowing for periodic consultations on a variety of regional and international issues of concern.

The agreement will also facilitate the exchange of know-how and practice and the strengthening of working ties.

South Ossetia and Artsakh recognize each other’s independence.
