Armenian Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan says that the Vanadzor Medical Center will make immediate purchases of equipment so that the 65 patients receiving dialysis at the hospital do not miss a day of treatment.

In a Facebook post, Torosyan says there are 1,000 people in Armenia who receive dialysis and that the government is taking steps to advance kidney transplant knowledge and procedures in the country.
