Artsakh Parliament Prez Discusses Azerbaijan's Armenian-Hate Policy at Brussels Conference

Artsakh National Assembly President Ashot Ghulyan today attended a conference, entitled "Armenophobia: Historic and Modern Manifestations", that took place at the European Parliament.

At the conference, organized by the European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy and the Tufenkian Foundation, with help from MEP Eleni Theocharous, Ghulyan stated that European Parliament works not only for harmonious relations amongst the peoples of Europe, but for the peoples of the whole world.

Ghulyan, according to an Artsakh Parliament press release, stressed the urgent need to struggle against the scourge of xenophobia, which he described as a major threat to humanity today,

Ghulyan went on to say that Azerbaijan’s anti-Armenian policy is new and that it has become an integral part of Azerbaijani identity, adding that the Baku government stokes such sentiments to misinform its society about the truth of the Karabakh conflict.
