Armenian football superstar Henrikh Mkhitaryan autographed a jersey and gifted it to Armenian President Armen Sarkissian today in Yerevan.

Sarkissian organized the reception for Mkhitaryan in order to invite Manvel Loretsyan, an elementary school pupil from Gyumri who is a big fan of Mkhitaryan.

Sarkissian met Loretsyan last week while in Gyumri. Loretsyan and other children were acting in a film being shot in the middle of town.

“When I asked Manvel to describe his greatest dream, he told me he wants to become a footballer just like Mkhitaryan,” Sarkissian told reporters at the reception.

Mkhitaryan, who plays for Arsenal, autographed a football for young Manvel.
