
Presidents of Armenia and Artsakh Visit Talish; Village Bore Brunt of April 2016 "Four Day War"
Armenian President Armen Sarkissian, escorted by Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan, today visited the Artsakh village of Talish, the focal point of the April 2016 “Four Day War” with neighboring Azerbaijan.
The presidents, according to an Armenian government press release, laid wreaths at a memorial commemorating those who died defending Artsakh in 2016 and those who fought in the Artsakh War of the early 1990s.
Afterwards, Sarkissian and Sahakyan visited several soldiers and volunteers who fought in the “Four DayWar”.
